The agent of Parma striker Cristiano Lucarelli has pulled out of talks about a return to Livorno.
Carlo Pallavicino has been blamed for negotiations collapsing last week and so he has decided to withdraw himself from the deal.
"I preferred to stand back," said Pallavicino. "Abandoning the representation of Cristiano was difficult. I was put in the middle of a story in which it was realized that Livorno would not buy the player.
"Those who have seriously harmed my image will answer elsewhere: I never asked for money that I didn't deserve."
Pallavicino added: "As for the future of Lucarelli, it is evident that the patron of Livorno, Aldo (Spinelli), is keen on wanting him back with the Amaranto."
