Palermo are preparing an offer for Sevilla winger Abdoulay Konko.
The former Genoa and Juventus midfielder has failed to settle in Seville since his summer arrival and could return to Italy as early as January.
Konko's agent, Daniele Conti, revealed: "There has been an initial approach from the Rosanero club. The solution would be particularly welcome for the player, he knows Palermo can make him again feel important, but it is not an easy negotiation.
"Sevilla made a big investment in Konko (about £7 million) and would like to wait before selling him."
