The agent of Nemanja Vidic has defended his battling start with Inter Milan. The former Manchester United captain has struggled to find any decent form since his summer arrival.
But Silvano Martina told Sportitalia: "Since arriving in Italy, he's made one, single mistake, in Palermo.
"He was given the responsibility that others would avoid, the impact of Italian football has been difficult with the dismissal in Turin.
"He is targeted for criticism, he is a great player, he is the best centre-half in the Italian league.
"Inter is suffering and he suffers. He does not deserve to be in this ongoing discussion, whatever happens they blame him. Maybe because he's the best player of the team in the defensive department, time will tell if he has been worth the trouble for Inter."
