Agent says Parma move still on for Chelsea striker Borini

The agent of Chelsea striker Fabio Borini says Parma remain keen on the young Italian.

Injury thwarted Borini's hopes of moving to the Serie A outfit in January.

"Fabio is in good shape, has recovered from his injury and is at the disposal of the manager," agent Marco De Marchi told Itasportpress.

"His contract expires on June 30 and I know nothing about the potential for a renewal, as the Chelsea directors have not contacted me. It's only normal that if the lad is not required, we will seek an alternative solution.

"In January they didn't reach a definitive agreement with Parma, but the Tardini side showed they were very interested in the player.

"I won't rule out that in the summer we could resume talks for a move to Parma, starting from where we left off, but other clubs are interested.

"Borini is an appetising striker, as he has strong technique, physicality and character. There are many sides interested in him, from Italy and England to elsewhere."
