The agent of Empoli striker Eder says a move to AC Milan is yet to be decided.
Earlier this week, Empoli's President was quoted as saying that Milan had made inquiries about the Brazilian.
Speaking to MilanNews, Eder's agent, Eugenio Ascari said: "An official statement from Empoli followed Galliani's denial, in which the club clarified that there was never a real deal, so there is little to add.
"If the President of one club and the Vice-President of another have confirmed that there was never a deal and that we are probably only talking about interest, I have little to add."
When asked if Milan had made contact with him, Ascari said: "No. I am also certain that there has been no contact between the two clubs.
"I think it's superfluous to ask if Eder would be attracted to Milan. It would be the best that could happen to the player also because he would find a colony of compatriots who would allow him to overcome any problems of adjustment."
