The agent of Napoli defender Fabio Santacroce says he deserves an Italy call.

Although he's struggled to get a regular game at Napoli this term, Claudio Pasqualin is adamant that the player can get his career back on the right path.

"I don't think it would be a scandal to see Santacroce in the Italian national squad," the agent said.

"I think that if he works hard on a daily basis then he can certainly start thinking about getting his place back in the Italy set-up."
