Olympique Lyon ace Ederson is ready to sign for Lazio.

The Brazilian midfielder left Lyon at the end of 2011-12 after running down his contract and refusing to sign a renewal.

"[President Claudio] Lotito has for five years followed the player, who in turn has expressed a desire to play in Italy," reminded Antonio Caliendo to Radio Mana Mana Sport.

"His future will be at Lazio, even though he received other important offers from Brazil and Portugal, whilst Milan did not pursue the discussions they had started with the player.

"I have spoken with Lotito and [sporting director Igli] Tare and the only details missing are secondary. What matters is the will of both parties to complete the deal. Soon I shall return to Lazio and I hope that the signing of the contract will happen soon."
