Agent says Inter Milan defender Burdisso stressed over on-off Roma move

The agent of Inter Milan defender Nicolas Burdisso says the Argentine is "stressed" over his on-off move to Roma.

The defender spent last season on loan at the Olimpico and has made it very clear he wishes to make the switch permanent, but negotiations have collapsed.

"I was told that yesterday the meeting between the two directors did not go very well, because there is still a big difference between the demands and the offer," agent Fernando Hidalgo told Sky Sport Italia.

"We want to find a solution to this mess as soon as possible, because Nicolas is being kept under pressure. He doesn't know if he'll return to Milan or Rome for pre-season training.

"We demand that the situation be clarified once and for all. Should he come back to Inter or remain at Roma?"

The agent claims the Nerazzurri are purposefully inflating his price-tag to destroy talks for the player who is currently at the World Cup with Argentina.

"If Inter think that the player is worth €10m, then that's fine, but asking that sum of Roma right now means they have no intention of reaching a deal.

"Burdisso was left out of the Champions League squad last season and allowed to leave on a free loan, but now he is thought to be worth €10m.

"Inter can ask whatever they want, but we are tired of this uncertainty."
