The agent of Juventus legend Alessandro del Piero admits he rejected Liverpool over the Heysel tragedy.
Claudio Pasqualin confirmed the interest of Liverpool last night.
"It's true, but in respect and memory of the Heysel tragedy, he said no," revealed Pasqualin.
Del Piero signed for Australian club Sydney yesterday.
Pasqualin added to TMW: "He would've gone to Antarctica, but they don't play football there."
