The agent of Paolo Cannavaro admits the defender faces a battle to break back into Napoli coach Rafa Benitez's first team.
Cannavaro hasn't started for Napoli this season.
"Only Benitez knows if Paolo will play as a starter," Enrico Fedele told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"The past matters for nothing, now the player just needs to prove his worth - all other discussions can wait until the end of the season.
"Benitez has made an initial centre-back choice of Albiol and Britos, but I'm certain that Cannavaro will give the Coach something to think about."
