The agent of FC Groningen striker Tim Matavz expects him to sign with Lazio this week.

It was reported this weekend that Lyon had intercepted talks with a new offer to bring the 22-year-old to Ligue 1.

"It's not true," agent Nusret Jashari told footmercato.net.

"I want to reassure the Napoli directors that everything has always been fine for Tim's transfer, even if nothing is official yet.

"Matavz should put pen to paper on a Napoli contract next week."
