Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi will not be making a late move to Napoli.

Rossi's agent admits the chance has gone.

"I publicly thanked President Aurelio De Laurentiis for his kind words about the player," Federico Pastorello told Radio Kiss Kiss.

"However, Giuseppe is not on the transfer market and his Spanish club have made that very clear.

"Nevertheless, in life, you never know what might happen in the future."
