The agent of Marco Verratti says returning to Italy is not on the agenda for the PSG midfielder.
Verratti has signed a new deal with PSG this week.
"We're very pleased to have signed the contract," Donato Di Campli told Tuttomercatoweb.
"The conclusion was up in the air for a while, but yesterday we managed to finalise the details. PSG understand that Marco is an important player for them, and so accommodated him with a very long contract.
"Could he return to Italy? At this moment there's no possibility of him coming back and playing in Serie A, especially with regard to the economic conditions.
"In the summer, no Italian clubs asked me about Marco, because no-one has the money to buy him.
"Unfortunately, Italian football is paying the price for the mistakes of its administrators."
