The agent of Palermo midfielder Josip Ilicic has denied talk of a move to Fiorentina.

Ilicic is being linked with Fiorentina following the appointment of former Rosanero coach Delio Rossi.

"Ilicic is a great player and therefore it is nice to know that he is wanted by other clubs," representative Amir Ruznic told Viola News.

"However, let's not talk about any negotiations. It's the journalists who are linking Ilicic with Fiorentina…

"There have never been any talks with Fiorentina. All of this is just journalistic invention."
