The agent of Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko has ruled out a return to Dynamo Kiev.
But Curnow claims Shevchenko is ready for the challenge and has dismissed talk of a switch to Kiev.
"That won't happen because a player of Andriy's calibre doesn't want to go on loan," he told the Daily Star. "He knows he has a challenge because his injury came at a difficult time and it pushed Pizarro, in terms of giving him an opportunity to play.
"But Andriy is a pro and he knows that his chance will come and that when he does he will have to take it.
"There's no suggestion of any bad feeling from anyone within the camp about him not being selected so far."
