The agent of Barcelona wing- back Maxwell has ruled out a January move to Benfica.

The veteran Brazilian has been linked with a January move to the Portuguese giants.

But Mino Raiola said: "Maxwell is not playing because he has been injured, but in the summer he could have left for Manchester City and did not.

"So now he does not want to go to Benfica, with all respect to this club."
