The Italian agent of Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has cooled talk of a January move to Inter Milan.
Inter president Massimo Moratti has been linked with a bid for Vidic as he sees his team's Champions League qualification chances recede by the week.
Silvano Martina told FCInterNews: "There's absolutely nothing, it's all a hoax set up by a journalist from Serbia. I can assure you that Inter are not trying to take Vidic, because in that case I would have made a call.
"They're also spreading the rumours of Anzhi, which, like Inter is false."
He added: "True (the rumours do persist), but I make this question: at this particular time, which player would leave Manchester United to go to Inter?"
