An Italian agent admits Premier League clubs are in contact for Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini.
Gabbiadini is expected to leave Napoli this month.
“It was almost done with Everton in the summer, then things turned around," Giuseppe Cannella told Radio Crc.
“I can confirm that West Bromwich Albion have made a move in recent hours, the ball is in Napoli's court but the price isn't what it was in the summer, even for the English, who want to spend less and see it as between €16m and €18m.
“I think that's the right valuation because these aren't top-level clubs, and January is always a repair market.
“For now though Napoli are playing hardball.
“Could he stay? Anything could happen, but in my opinion that would be a mistake."
