Recoba, who is on-loan at Torino this season, is set to join Nacional de Montevideo - as revealed by agent, Alejandro Balbi, who has close ties with the Uruguayan club.

"Recoba told me that he has offers from Qatar and from an Italian team," said Balbi, "but out of respect for (Inter) president Massimo Moratti is not willing to accept another offer from Italy.

"Therefore , the idea is to return to Nacional. Even his father and his friends have recommended it."
