The agent of Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi has revealed the interest of Tottenham. Materazzi still has 18 months left on his contract, but now Inter are ready to contemplate whether to let him leave.

"There is interest in England and I can say that Tottenham in recent days have expressed a real interest in Marco," Claudio Vigorelli revealed to Calciomercato.

"We are at a very early stage, they are talking with Inter and presenting something to the player - then it is up to the club and Marco to decide whether to accept or not."
