Mikel Arteta has agreed new terms with Arsenal.
The London Evening Standard says Arteta has agreed a new one-year extension with Arsenal.
The veteran's previous deal was due to expire in June, but Arteta has put pen to paper after productive talks with manager Arsene Wenger.
Arteta's representative Inaki Ibanez told footmercato.net: "Mikel is no longer free next June, because he now has an extra year on his contract."
