Agent reveals mega offer for Chelsea's Cech

Pavel Zika told Czech newspaper Pravo that another ten clubs had asked about the 26-year-old's availability, but that the Chelsea star was happy to stay at Stamford Bridge.

He said: "I know quite a large European club is ready to pay 40 million euros for Petr Cech. It is an important sum for a goalkeeper."

The transfer fee in question would put Cech alongside Juventus keeper Gianluigi Buffon as the world's most expensive goalkeeper, matching his £32million move from Parma in 2001.

But the agent also revealed that he plans to re-negotiate Cech's contract with Chelsea officials over the summer and is looking for a pay rise for his man.

"At the end of the season, we will consider the current contract of Petr and see whether we can improve it," he said.
