The agent of Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin is coy over interest from Manchester United. The player's agent, Marcelo Ferreyra, refused to comment on whether Manchester United made contact regarding his client over the summer and has tried to downplay speculation that Guarin wants a move.
He said: "Fredy is happy at Inter for several reasons. Mazzarri has confidence in him and relies on him to be the protagonist.
"The possibility of renewal? I repeat, Fredy is happy here. He wants to try and win things here and that's what he is working towards. His contract expires in 2016 and that's all there is to it.
"Did Manchester United try to sign him? I can't say, but David Moyes appreciates him.
"But for now his head is at Inter, and only Inter."
