Scouts have been tracking Sunderland striker Jozy Altidore leading up to the January market.
Scouts from Lille were among the crowd at Fulham's Craven Cottage during the international break to watch Altidore score his 25th goal for his country in a 2-1 defeat to Colombia.
"Three Italian clubs came to see him in London, as well as two French teams and German clubs," said Altidore's agent Lyle Yorks.
"He has interest throughout Europe."
Several MLS sides have made enquiries about Altidore's availability too, although Yorks claims none have materialised into anything concrete.
"There's been a lot of interest for Jozy in Major League Soccer, but there have not been any really serious conversations," he added on MLSsoccer.com.
