The agent of PSV Eindhoven midfielder Ibrahim Afellay has confirmed the interest of Genoa.

Arsenal have also been linked with Afellay this summer.

"Arsenal have been linked to my client but I haven't heard from them," said Karel Jansen.

"I know that Genoa are interested for sure. Afellay's contract expires in 2011 but we are not planning to renew it just yet.

"PSV have offered him a new contract but Ibrahim would rather wait and see what happens."
