Villarreal defender Cristian Zapata is eager to hear from the Premier League.

After Villarreal's shock relegation last season, Zapata is desperate to get a move away and favours a move to England.

Zapata has attracted interest from Arsenal and Liverpool in the past and his agent, Massimo Italiani, has confirmed to tribalfootball.com that he's again fielding enquiries from Premier League clubs.

"He's a top centre-back with great experience," said Italiani, who added Zapata would welcome the chance to play in England.

"Yes, he would."

Zapata, 25, enjoyed great success in Italy with Udinese before making the move to Villarreal last summer.
