The agent of Barcelona fullback Martin Montoya has revealed growing interest from Italy.
Montoya's current deal expires in June.
Jose Maria Orobitg told Laroma2: "The player is negotiating a new contract with FC Barcelona. Contacts with the club will continue in the coming days. If negotiations fail with FC Barcelona, we will look at other options.
"I can say that in Italy there are three clubs who are willing to begin negotiations with us and those who would like to have the player next season.
"Of course, the first option is to renew the contract with Barca."
