The agent of Deportivo La Coruna midfielder Joan Verdu has confirmed the interest of Benfica.

Verdu comes off contract in June and agent Magico Diaz revealed: "He's a player at the end of his contract.

"It is natural, therefore, that other clubs like Benfica are pursuing him. But I cannot make public anything at this moment."
