Juventus midfielder Cristiano Zanetti is a target for Bayern Munich.

Zanetti's agent, Carlo Pallavicino, said: "In conjunction with the refusal of (AC Milan's Rino) Gattuso, there was an enquiry from Bayern Munich about Cristiano Zanetti and he would be in a position to apply Article 17.

"But he wants to close his career with Juve. If it becomes apparent the intent of Juve is to prolong the contract, expiring in 2010, Zanetti would be very happy."
