Barcelona have moved ahead of Premier League rivals for Ajaccio goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa.
The Mexico international has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool this week with his Ajaccio deal due to expire at the end of the month.
However, his agent, Jorge Berlanga, has revealed contact with Barcelona.
"I've spoken with FC Barcelona. They called me for information on the player," he told CBC AM950 Belgrano.
