Arsenal are chasing Real Madrid pair Karim Benzema and Raphael Varane. Agent Francois Gallardo, who has connections with Benzema, expects Arsene Wenger to make an approach to bring the duo to the Emirates Stadium in the January transfer window.
"Arsenal want to reinforce in the winter and will go for Benzema and Varane," he told Punto Pelota.
"Karim is the darling of Wenger, who is obsessed with him and Raphael, but the deal will almost be unworkable.
"Karim, obviously, will not leave in January. It is unfeasible."
