"David was really, really close to the Rossoneri but he didn't want to upset the fans and go against the Board's will," revealed Antonio Caliendo.
"I think that he won't sign for them now, at least for this year they have no chance to get him. But in the future you never know.
"The transfer market is always unpredictable but I think he will stay until June and then go. His comments over a possible return to France or Argentina were a way to tell the Board to be prepared to sign someone else.
"He is used to be a protagonist so sitting on the bench is not ideal and it hurts him. But Juventus play week in week out and there should be enough space for him too."
