The agent of Nicolas Anelka says his move to Juventus was a hush-hush operation.
Anelka's agent has revealed how he and Juventus kept the transfer quiet ahead of his medical yesterday morning.
"In media terms, Juventus did very well to keep it all hidden," Fabrizio Ferrari told TuttoJuve.com.
"We had also been asked to keep the utmost reserve and silence, avoiding any rumours from emerging."
The French striker flew in last night and underwent a medical today, so he is set to sign a five-month contract.
"His first impact with Turin has been positive. He will spend the day at the Vinovo training ground to meet his new teammates. He is trying to settle in as quickly as possible.
"In his career, Anelka has worn the jerseys of the most important clubs in the world like Real Madrid, Chelsea and Arsenal, so now he has arrived at Juventus.
"This represents a great challenge for Nicolas. He wants to leave his mark in Italy too."
