The agent of Inter Milan defender Cristian Chivu has opened the door to a move to Real Madrid.

Joan Becali, Chivu's agent, is leaning against an Ajax return, stating Real are a team more of interest.

"Back to Ajax? I'd say he could continue playing abroad, maybe at Real Madrid," said Becali. "I'm talking with three or four big level teams. He can continue playing for four or five years.

"Real? Mourinho knows him well. I've spoken with him, we'll see.

"The most important thing is that Christian plays as a pure defender."
