The agent of Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer admits he may've stayed too long with Ajax.
De Boer is under huge pressure at Palace after defeat at Burnley yesterday.
Guido Albers, his lawyer, told Voetbal International: "I was called by top clubs from the Premier League, whether it was Tottenham or Liverpool because he was successful at that moment, then followed a two-year period in which he did not win titles and so you suddenly get other clubs.
"That's what makes it difficult. What's the time for a trainer to decide: 'Now I have to go'.
"If Frank should have left Ajax? If you look at it now... That's been his loyalty. He had a contract, was loyal to the club and wanted to finish it in a good way. If you would ask him now, I think he'd say something like, 'maybe we should make another decision'."
