Arsenal have received a boost in their reported chase of German goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
The Gunners have been linked with a move for the Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper to take the starting spot from Petr Cech, who showed his age this past season with a series of mistakes.
With new manager Unai Emery in place, Arsenal are ready to add the right quality to their squad.
And it appears they could be in a good position to sign Leno, if his agent's words are anything to go by.
Leno's agent Uli Ferber said to the Daily Express: "Bernd is concentrating entirely on the national team, nothing else matters, there are several options for his future, which are tested without any hassle, this has not changed today.
"At the moment, Bernd is a player from Bayer Leverkusen, and this has been constant for more than seven years.
"As soon as there is something else to announce, we will do that."
