The agent of Bernd Leno admits he could easily have been lost to Arsenal this summer.
Leno left Bayer Leverkusen for the Gunners before the World Cup, but Fabio Parisi has revealed a move to Napoli was close.
Parisi told RMC: "Napoli started a negotiation with Leno when (Maurizio) Sarri was there on the bench, then the deal went down when (Carlo) Ancelotti was in.
"This does not mean that it was a choice of the latter: it was evaluations made at certain times.
"Leno was available for transfer to Napoli, but when the club relaxed for a moment the player has felt free to listen to other offers."
