The agent of Manchester City signing Mario Balotelli says Marco Materazzi is to blame for his client's departure from Inter Milan.
Balotelli completed a transfer for an undisclosed fee to Manchester City last night and the recriminations have already begun.
"When did I understand his rapport with Inter was over? After Materazzi beat him up at the end of the Barcelona game. Mario forgave him, but I didn't," Mino Raiola told the Corriere dello Sport.
"Ivan Cordoba's words pre-season didn't help him either. Inter should've protected him: when you have a talent like this you should help, especially as he doesn't have the same strong character as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and is still only 20 years old."
