Jose Alberti has revealed Manchester United and Manchester City have tried for River Plate goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo.

Alberti took Diego Maradona to Napoli and said: "We're talking about a complete, skilful goalkeeper with his feet, someone who can command his defence and make the difference.

"At this moment, the player is wanted by Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Zaragoza. The Spanish club have offered £6 million."
