The agent of Lazio coach Edy Reja has cooled reports linking him with a return to Napoli.
As his deal with the Biancocelesti expires in June, there are rumours he'll return to the San Paolo.
"Reja has postponed signing a new contract until the end of the season, but it is a pure formality and no need for negotiations on the economic aspects," assured agent Marko Naletilic on Radio Kiss Kiss.
"Lazio have wanted to extend the deal for the last six months, as has the Coach. I repeat, this agreement is a formality. He is only concentrated on Lazio and the fight for fourth place."
The representative was asked about the rumours linking Reja with a return to Napoli amid uncertainty over Walter Mazzarri's future.
"I am surprised by this news, as there has been no contact. He is happy at Lazio and just wants to renew his contract.
"I never spoke to Napoli about him, although obviously I can confirm the club and the city have a special place in his heart. He has wonderful memories of his experience with the Partenopei, but there is nothing new to discuss."
