The Italian agent of Ajax star Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Vincenzo Morabito, is convinced it is the Brazilian who is Juve's top attacking target for season 2008/09.
He said: "The goal of Juventus is not Huntelaar but Amauri. There are many signals coming in that direction.
"They are preparing for June the attacking pair of David Trezeguet and Amauri. Huntelaar is admired by Juve, but on equal terms, since both cost about £17 million, it will probably be Amauri as he already is in the Italian league and that can tip the balance in his favour."
