The agent of Gaston Ramirez insists Bologna can have no complaints with Southampton over their deal for the winger.
Bologna president Albano Guaraldi has traded insults with Ramirez in the Italian press over the last fortnight.
But Pablo Betancur told TMW: "If you get an important proposal and a contract worth three times what you're on, it is normal that you want to go. And when there is a transfer that occurs after three months of negotiations with several clubs, there can be little argument.
"Southampton has been very fair with us, with Bologna and with the player."
