Italian super agent Enzo Bronzetti insists AC Milan's move for Barcelona star Ronaldinho is not dead.

Milan president Silvio Berlusconi bemoaned Barca's asking price for Ronaldinho yesterday: "Everyone considers Barcelona's request to be excessive."

However, Bronzetti, who has been working on the deal as Milan's representative, told RAI Sport: "Milan were right to say Barcelona's demands are excessive.

"I am the one who had the first contact with the Barcelona directors and passed on that message to Adriano Galliani and Ariedo Braida.

"Clearly Berlusconi is referring to this large request, but knowing the Catalans, they always initially ask for double their real target."
