The agent of Ajax striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has dismissed talk of a new bid arriving from Real Madrid.

"There is nothing about this subject. The rumors are nonsense," Arnold Oosterveer insisted last night after reports emerged that Real were reviving their interest in the Dutch ace.

Huntelaar is rated highly by Real coach Bernd Schuster, who is pleading with his board to make a new striker signing before the market shuts at the end of this month.
