But Lerby, the former Bayern Munich and Denmark star, declared: "I am an advanced player coach who after so many years is well acquainted with FIFA regulations.
"These regulations, I respect and they have not been broken.
"As the player does not contract with them and he wants to go abroad, the club nor I cannot stop him. And you cannot blame Manchester City for getting a youth player who is not under contract."
