The agent of Christian Eriksen insists the Dane is loyal to Ajax.

The midfielder is a confirmed target for Liverpool and Newcastle United, but agent Martin Schoots insists he will forever be grateful to Ajax for his football education.

"He is immensely proud to play for Ajax and it may sound hogwash-romantic, but Christian is truly respectful. He will do everything to win Ajax something again," Martin Schoots told Algemeen Dagblad.

"You see players who are constantly running around and kissing their club emblems to show fans how much they love the club. A year later, they run around and do the same for another club. For Christian love comes from within. I can still remember the boy who as a 16-year-old took his first Ajax shirt to take home to his bedroom in Denmark."
