The agent of Chelsea signing Samuel Eto'o says Inter Milan never came in for him.

Eto'o signed for Chelsea last week.

"Inter were never really there," agent Claudio Vigorelli told Tuttosport.

"Had Samuel not signed for Chelsea then he would have probably accepted a very rich offer to go and play in Qatar.

"However, [Chelsea boss Jose] Mourinho decided to accelerate for him and we did the deal."
