Agent insists Bianchi staying with Man City

The agent of Rolando Bianchi insists there's no plans for the Italian striker to leave Manchester City in January.

The 24-year-old forward has made just 10 appearances under City boss Sven Goran Eriksson since joining for almost £9million in the summer, and a lack of first-team starts had prompted rumours of a switch to Napoli.

But despite only finding the net once, Bianchi - who scored 18 goals in 37 appearances last season at Reggina - has enjoyed a warm reception at Eastlands.

And agent Tullio Tinti has denied rumours of a transfer.

"Bianchi is happy where he is," Tinti said.

"There's no truth in what certain newspapers are reporting, regarding a possible move to Napoli or any other team.

"Rolando Bianchi wants to remain in Manchester for a long time, he wants to grow as a player in this team."
