The agent of Roma midfielder Ciro Barusso has played down the Ghanaian's comments about wanting to play for Napoli.

Leonardo Giusti claims Barusso was misquoted as he "is still struggling with Italian" and added: "Barusso signed a five-year contract with Roma in July. He knew there would be a lot of competition to find a place in the team.

"He is happy in Rome and does not want to leave. He's staying with Roma."
