The agent of Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes insists his client deserves to go to the World Cup.

Valdes is yet to even be capped by Spain, but remains among the best keepers in Europe.

"In Spain there are three or four goalkeepers who are also the three or four of the best goalkeepers in the world and one of them is Victor Valdes," said Gines Carvajal.

"I would take him first because I am very fond of him and think he's a very good goalkeeper."
